Grandpa's Garden

"The garden really brought out the children's imagination. All the children came up with amazing ideas, it was lovely to see them being so creative and having a release for it." -

Year 1/2 teacher, Eyres Monsell

Specially designed to assist in delivering and developing the SEAL programme, this unique proven resource takes children into an unforgettable world of storytelling, imagination and creativity.

Originally created in partnership with Eyres Monsell Primary School Speakeasy Theatre Company’s installation turns any large indoor space into a magical interactive garden.

Live characters, projection, sound installation and a spectacular green environment combine for a remarkable learning experience.

Grandpa and his garden visited four schools in the 07/08 school year thanks to an exciting partnership between Speakeasy, Lighthouse Learning, Creative Partnerships Leicester, and the SEAL programme.
